What can I expect?

Counseling has shown to improve self esteem, self acceptance, change self defeating behavior, regulate emotions, decrease symptoms of depression, anxiety, other mental health symptoms, and heal from trauma. Counseling has also been shown to increase interpersonal relationships and facilitate the development of skills and techniques to achieve a more fulfilling life.
I do my best to create a safe, inviting, and non-judgemental, environment. As a counselor I follow a code of Ethics that are the foundations of my practice; Autonomy, Justice, Beneficence, Nonmaleficence, and Fidelity. I practice with a humanistic, person centered approach. My treatment methods utilized are Evidence-Based therapies learned through training and 10 years of experience. We will identify and collaborate the best therapeutic technique that will assist you in achieving your identified goals. Counseling is a partnership that requires trust, honesty, communication and these are all a part of building a healthy therapeutic relationship.
